Getting started

Invite the bot and connect your server

How Asward-Helper gets onto your Discord server and shows up in the dashboard – with every message you might see and what it means.

What you need first

  • You own the server or have “Administrator” or “Manage Server” there.
  • You’re signed in to Discord in your browser with the account that has these permissions.

How it works

  1. Open the inviteDashboard

Open the bot invite link (asward-helper.store/auth/invite-bot). In the dashboard you can also use Invite › in the Welcome! Let's get started. box, or the setup: in the Bot is on the server step you’ll then see Invite the bot. After the invite you come back to exactly that place.

By adding the bot, you accept the Terms and Conditions and the Data Processing Agreement.

  2. Choose the serverDiscord

Discord asks which server the bot should join. Choose your server.

  3. Confirm the permissionsDiscord

Discord shows the bot’s permissions. Leave “Administrator” checked and confirm. Why Administrator: the bot creates ticket channels, assigns roles and deletes spam, for example. The link asks for exactly this one permission.

  4. Back in the dashboardDashboard

Discord sends you back to the dashboard. If you weren’t signed in, you sign in first. A message then appears at the top. What it means is in the table below.

  5. Connect more serversDashboard

Open the server switcher at the top left (on phones at the top of the header) and choose Manage server slots. In the Configure Server section, click Auto-Detect and then Save. A server that’s already listed becomes the active one with Select.

Server slots

  • Free: 1 server slot. Basic and Lifetime Basic: 2. Premium and Lifetime Premium: 3.
  • The “More server slots” subscription adds 2 more slots.
  • You can give each slot to a different server at most 2 times a month. The Server slots page shows this, for example 2/2 changes left.
  • To free up a slot, click the X (“Clear slot”) on the Server slots page and then Save. You get there via the server switcher at the top left (on phones at the top of the header) › Manage server slots.
  • Only as many servers count as your plan has slots – the first ones in your list. If you’ve added more (for example after the extra slots ended), the rest show Not active – not one of your paid slots. Nothing is deleted: with Buy more slots or a bigger plan they count again. If you clear an active slot, the next one moves up – moving up doesn’t use another change. You can add a new server as long as one of your paid slots is free.
  • Automations and the GTA RP commands run on servers where you set up the bot with your account (server slot in the dashboard) – with your own bot on every server it runs on. Your account needs the matching plan for this.

Check in Discord

  • “Asward-Helper” appears in your server’s member list.

Common problems

The server shows Bot is not on this server.
