Invite the bot and connect your server
How Asward-Helper gets onto your Discord server and shows up in the dashboard – with every message you might see and what it means.
Server not found
The bot is invited, but the dashboard doesn’t show your server? These points almost always solve it.
Go through these points in order
Wait briefly, search againDashboard
Right after the invite it can take up to a minute. If no server is connected yet, click Already invited the bot? Search again. Otherwise: server switcher at the top left (on phones at the top) → Manage server slots → Auto-Detect → Save.
Is the bot really there?Discord
Check the member list for “Asward-Helper”. If it’s missing, invite it (Invite the bot and connect your server) and choose the right server in the Discord window.
Do you have the permissions?Discord
The dashboard only shows servers you own or where you have “Administrator” or “Manage Server”. You can check this in Discord under Server Settings › Roles › your role › “Permissions”. If the server belongs to someone else, the owner can give you “Manage Server” in Discord. If they have Basic or Premium, they can also add you in the dashboard under Settings › 🔑 Bot-Master Invites; the server then appears for you under Shared Servers.
Just got the permissions?Dashboard
The dashboard only picks up new permissions after you sign in again. Sign out and back in, or open your account menu at the bottom left (your name; on phones the Account tab), then Account and Reload permissions.
Right Discord account?Dashboard
If you have several Discord accounts, check the name you’re signed in with. It must be the account that has the permissions on the server.
All server slots taken?Dashboard
If you see The bot is now on your server — but all server slots are taken. …, free up a slot under server switcher › Manage server slots (X “Clear slot”) and save. Each slot can change at most 2 times a month.
Discord outage?Website
If Discord is not responding right now. … appears, take a look at discordstatus.com.
